Pre-K

Registration for the 2012/2013 school year begins Monday, January 9th.  Enrollment packets are now available at Kids `R` Kids .   To complete the enrollment packet, we will need a copy of your child`s birth certificate, Social Security card, and parent`s proof of GA residence.  Please call with questions regarding registration.

Kids `R` Kids #23 has provided the Georgia Lottery funded Pre-K program since opening in 2000.  The goal of our three Pre-K classes is to provide our four year olds with the learning experiences they need to be prepared for kindergarten.  The program provides an opportunity for the children to develop school readiness skills in an environment that encourages children to have fun while learning, emphasizing growth in language and literacy, math concepts, science, art, physical development, and personal and social competence.  We use Creative Curriculum in our Pre-K classrooms and you will observe "hands-on" learning throughout the year.

We have a veteran staff of certified lead teachers and assistant teachers.  We have developed and enhanced our Pre-K program over the years so that we continually provide the highest standard in kindergarten preparation, including weekly Spanish instruction and music instruction.  We also include educational field trips in our Pre-K program.

One of our lead teachers, Ms. Anita Sutton, has been with Kids `R` Kids for 16 years and Kids `R` Kids in Bogart since 2000 as a Pre-K teacher.  Ms. Anita has also received the honor of serving as a mentor teacher for the state of Georgia for the 2005/06 school year.  As a mentor teacher, Ms. Anita was responsible for training other Pre-K teachers throughout the state of Georgia.

Children four years of age on September 1 of the current school year whose parents are residents of Georgia are eligible to attend the Pre-K program. Please contact us with any questions you may have concerning our Pre-K program or enrollment requirements.
