Kids 'R' Kids #23 provides the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program. The goal of
our three Georgia Pre-K classrooms is to provide our four year olds with learning experiences they
need in order to
prepare for kindergarten. The program provides an opportunity
for the children to develop school readiness skills in an environment that
encourages children to have fun while learning.
Children
four years of age on September 1 of the
current school year, whose parents are
Georgia residents, are eligible to attend the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program
during this school year. The program is voluntary for both families and
communities.
The
school readiness goals of this program are to provide a developmentally
appropriate preschool program emphasizing growth in language
and literacy, math
concepts, science, arts, physical development, and personal and social
competence. We use "Creative Curriculum" in our Pre-K
classrooms. You will observe hands-on learning throughout the program
year.
